How to clean your makeup brushes?
The best and most thorough method for cleaning your tools requires only water and either a gentle soap or a professional brush cleanser. For natural goat hair, we recommend using equal parts olive oil mixed with baby shampoo, followed by baby conditioner. Keep the base of the brush head away from soap and water to prevent the glue from disintegrating.
Steps to clean the natural bristle brushes:
Wet the bristles with warm water.
Place a drop of brush cleanser or soap into the palm of your hand.
Gently massage the tips of the bristles in your palm.
Rinse the bristles (keep water out of the barrel).
Squeeze out the excess moisture with a clean towel.
Reshape the brush head (you can add aloe while damp to hold shape).
Let the brush dry with its bristles hanging off the edge of a counter. Do not dry vertically or flat on a towel.
